When our bodies are out of balance the muscles and the fascia has to work that much harder to keep us stable. We lose our structural balance after sustaining an injury, or undergoing a surgery, or just as a consequence of improperly using our bodies as we go about life.

About me
I used to experience chronic back pain. I would need a yoga class at least once a week to stretch my back out. Massage would alleviate the pain temporarily. I used electro therapy, cupping, dry needling... all would help a little, but couldn't eliminate the pain. Once I went through the structural integration process... the pain was gone... and it has not returned!
But the elimination of pain was just a side effect! The changes that occured in my psyche, my energy levels, my performance in sport were profound! I realised that this was something worth sharing with the whole world!
Our Services
Rolfing® & Structural Integration
Rolfing® & Structural Integration offers you the traditional ten series where we methodically work through the entire body addressing old and new injuries, dysfunctional postural and behavioral patterns and habits that you may have picked up along the way.
In just 10 sessions we will upgrade your body in every way! and we can also tailor the sessions to suit your particular needs.
Each session will include postural assessments, table and bench body work which targets the fascia in the body but also has an educational element.
The sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes.
The technique will meet you where you are ready to be met, and shouldn’t feel painful but should still feel very effective!
Relaxation Response training
Using both ancient Eastern and modern western techniques we can bring new found structural integration into your daily life.
We teach you an effective set of stretching and opening exercises to bring your body back into balance. The exercises are designed to combat the daily effects of poor posture and bring the body back into balance.
Each time our posture is compromised, for example, when we sit with poor posture, the fascia and tissues in the body shortens, tightens and becomes painfull. The movements that we practice will open up those restrictions, allowing for better energy flow and function.
The partner exercises show us how we habitually respond to external stress and teach us how to harmonize, instead of fighting against that stress.
The 'Posting' exercises are an interesting exploration into our relationship with gravity. They are both an excellent energy exercise, and a wonderful teaching tool to change our relationship with the ever present force of gravity.

What to wear

How long is a session?

We are located on the 2nd floor, overlooking the golf course. The setting is literally up in the tree, with sounds of birds and an amazing energy!

Ideally only a pair of shorts and a sports bra for the ladies ( this allows the best contact with the fascia for your practitioner)

A session can go as long as 90 minutes, but the duration will depend on how much your nervous system can withstand. There will be assesments, integration and "Tracking" along with the fascial manipulations.
